Download
ArpEgg can be downloaded as standalone product (windows only). Just drop it into any directory and run “ArpEgg”. It requires the existance of a Java runtime of 1.4 or later. If you already have Java installed for your web browser then ArpEgg should just work.
Under the covers, ArpEgg is a packaged Eclipse RCP application. If you need to specify the path to the Java runtime, you can do so by use of the -vm command line argument when running ArpEgg (as with any Eclipse install).
The download is windows only but with some work other platforms could be added.
After downloading, just click on the file “ArgEgg”, which is the Eclipse executable. Eclipse will create a subdirectory called “workspace” where it will store the files you author.
If you are an Eclipse developer, you can get just the plugins. In this case though you must use the “Add Music Nature” menu on any project.
